Well, not much of an update, primarily a reorganization of the photo gallery section into multiple sections, i.e., no more downloading over a meg of thumbnails per page. Actual content incoming.
More photos in the gallery, some narcissistic documentation of a new benchpress high for me.
My friend Nicole's visit added... what few pictures there were, anyway.
Mom's 50th birthday, and my shiny visage added to photo gallery.
Photo gallery has been updated with my new car. Go admire.
After almost two years in stasis, my site is updated at last. New look, more art, photos and honest to gosh working links. I do most of my day to day rambling on Livejournal, so if you're actually interested in what I have to say rather than gawking at the pictures, go there.
For starters, my own vanity domain and web hosting courtesy of Fuitadnet.com. So far, they seem to be almost too good to be true, but I have yet to turn up any complaints about them from any other customers and I haven't had any issues either.
On the page itself, no frames or tables. The layout you see is constructed by use of Cascading Style Sheets only, for faster updating and more control over positioning and formatting. It took a while to get the hang of CSS and I still only understand the basics but it's proven to be very flexible and very powerful.
It's also minimalist in the use of graphics. Thumbnails are the only graphics used on the pages themselves, so it should load fast whether you're on a T1 or a 28.8 modem. I will probably add some more eye candy in the future, but for now the monochrome scheme seems to work rather nicely.
(anti-spam mailto courtesy of Web Design Guides.) There was a guestbook but it became spam central, so just email me. Oh, it's a javascript unfortunately, so if you don't see anything make sure javascript is turned on or temporarily allowed(if you have NoScript for Firefox).
